Administrative Council is happy to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 election cycle!

The following divisions and areas will have open seats on Administrative Council starting July 1, 2025. Term lengths may vary in order to more evenly distribute Administrative Council class sizes and stagger divisional representation. Any administrator or staff member is welcome to submit nominations to fill any of these seats, regardless of division or area. Self-nominations are welcome! All nominations are due Wednesday, May 21, by 5 PM.

Open Seats:

  • Academics (regular 3-year term; 2025-2028)
  • Academics (temporary 2-year term; 2025-2027)
  • Athletics (temporary 2-year term; 2025-2027)
  • Enrollment Services (regular 3-year term; 2025-2028)
  • Finance & Administration: Facilities subdivision (regular 3-year term; 2025-2028)
  • Finance & Administration: Human Resources subdivision (regular 3-year term; 2025-2028)
  • Finance & Administration: Public Safety (temporary 1-year term; 2025-2026)
  • Inclusion (temporary 1-year term; 2025-2026)
  • ITS (regular 3-year term; 2025-2028)
  • ITS (temporary 2-year term; 2025-2027)

Admin Council Vice Chair:

In addition, the following area will have special election for a 1-year term (2025-2026) to fill the vacancy created by Vice Chair-Elect

  • Advancement (special 1-year term; 2025-2026)

Admin Council Chair:

The Admin Council Chair seat for 2025-2026 has not been filled by any currently eligible Admin Council member. Once 2025 regular elections are complete and member eligibility is re-established, Administrative Council will hold an internal election for the currently vacant Chair seat for 2025-2026.

  • If the division or area vacated by the new Chair-Elect received nominations in the 2025 regular election, the nominee with the next highest votes will be invited to fill the seat vacated by the Chair-Elect for a special 1-year term (2025-2026).
  • If the vacated seat cannot be filled with any of the candidates in the 2025 regular election, a call for nominations will be sent out in early summer followed by a special election for a 1-year term (2025-2026) to fill the vacancy created by the Chair-Elect.
